How we collect, use and share information across our website, products and the Investment Desk.
Last updated: June 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pickel Fintech ("we", "us", "the Company"), based in Tel Aviv, Israel, handles information when you use this website, buy our products or view the Investment Desk. We collect as little as the work needs, we do not sell personal data and we tell you plainly where data goes when it leaves our systems.
We run our own first-party analytics to understand which pages are read and how the site performs. For each page view we record the page, a referrer, a coarse timestamp and basic device or browser details. We do not store your raw IP address. It is reduced to a salted one-way hash, which we use only to group repeat views and never to identify you. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking networks.
When you email us or fill in a contact link, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply and to keep a record of the exchange.
When you buy a product, payment is handled by third-party processors. We do not store card numbers (see the Terms of Service for the payment and refund detail). We keep the order record and the receipt email address so we can deliver the product and support it.
The site uses a small number of first-party cookies and browser local-storage values for things that make the site work, such as remembering an analytics opt-out and your language choice. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear these at any time in your browser, and blocking them does not stop you from reading the site.
The Investment Desk connects to Souppe (souppe.ai), an affiliated Pickel Fintech product, through its API at api.souppe.ai.
One Investment Desk feature, the Drawdown Protection check, submits the desk's own current holdings (the security tickers and their weights, which the desk already displays publicly) to Souppe to compute how the book would have weathered a given market event. The request carries a header that tags it as accredited-desk activity so Souppe can tell desk usage apart from retail usage. This submission contains portfolio holdings only. It does not include your name, email or any other personal detail about you as a visitor.
Portfolio compositions submitted through the Drawdown Protection check are stored for product improvement and analytical purposes.
If we ever let visitors submit their own portfolio to a Souppe-backed check, we will say so at the point of entry and update this policy first.
We share information only with the service providers that run the site and our products, and only as far as each needs to do its job:
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
We keep analytics records and order records for as long as we need them for the purposes above, then delete or further anonymize them. Email exchanges are kept while they remain useful for support and record-keeping.
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We operate from Israel. If you use the site from elsewhere, your information may be processed in Israel and in the countries where our service providers operate.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
